Kypera Housing 2.6
Kypera are continually developing systems in order to meet the needs of customers. Kypera Housing 2.6 shows Kypera's commitment to the sector and to continual improvement of what is a powerful, modern and cost effective Housing Management System.
Time savings: The new ‘Incoming Call’ screen enables staff to input all or part of a telephone number or email address in order to obtain all the details connected to that input, making available links to all areas of the system without the need to exit from the display. These facilities can also be linked to the telephone system for the front-desk so that the caller’s details are loaded automatically.
Direct Debits: Version 2.6 has been enhanced to enable the production of electronic AUDDIS and Direct Debit collection files which, can then be transmitted through your banking software. Bank details are held against individual people so that multiple direct debits can exist against a single occupancy.
Complaints Compliments and Suggestions: This flexible new module allows you to reflect your business’s requirements and coding structures. Entries can be raised against the stock, people, occupancies, contractors or individual members of staff or departments. There are facilities for recording witness statements and an escalation policy which feeds through to individuals’ Work Trays.
Care and Support: This new module is to enable you to work within this specialised area, from recording assessments of potential scenarios, evaluating how the business could assist and progressing the initial assessment through to becoming a case. A case can be referred internally or to external agencies and again, this feeds into the work tray so that staff can easily see where the case currently rests.

New developments that are embedded in the core system and are therefore available to every user of Kypera Housing 2.6 include:
- Incoming call system to route you straight to the record of the person on the end of the phone
- Enhanced grids on Units and Occupancies make searching and locating even easier
- Improved History tabs including new spellchecker on audit trail entries
- Spellchecker on all letters
- Additional fields and tabs on People to comply with statutory reporting requirements for RSR and APSR
- Facilities to record consent for communication with a third party
- Enhanced security to allow you to set up groups of users with the same access as well as the ability to stipulate viewable, read-only or full access
Additional modules available in Kypera Housing 2.6 include:
- Incoming call system as above which is automated through integration to your digital telephone system (TAPI)
- Direct Debits so you can set up DDs against any occupancy for rent collection and produce an AUDDIS-compliant file to pass directly through your banking software to your bank
- Complaints, Compliments and Suggestions which mirrors the rules and workflow of your organisation’s complaints process This feeds into the Work Tray by assigning actions and timings for specific users
