Kypera Ltd is a dynamic company which develops, implements and supports business solutions through its own representatives and appointed resellers. Based in the UK with a subsidiary company that is based in Wellington, New Zealand. Kypera are continuing to grow both nationally and internationally and are currently in the process of opening an office in Melbourne, Australia.
The Company’s Managing Director Ian Thompson, originally founded Thompson Systems Ltd in 1981 which acted as a reseller for SunSystems. The company was successful for many years providing customers with additional solutions and bespoke developments around the Sun package. In 2002 Thompson Systems merged with software authors ICE Solutions providing ICE 32 Finance software, the precursor to Kypera Financials. The merged company and product set were then re-branded as Kypera in 2004.
Since its incorporation in 2004 Kypera has experienced continual growth acquiring and enhancing a fully integrated housing management system and expanding its product suite. The Company provides software and consultancy services to facilitate the implementation and support of its products across a wide range of business sectors including private, public and not for profit organisations. The flexible nature of the Kypera systems means that the products can be adapted to most business models, as reflected by Kypera’s diverse customer list.
Kypera utilise modern Microsoft technologies for all its products which are compatible with the Microsoft suite, in addition to many third party products. Utilising common Microsoft languages the system is built to work in modern IT environments and is continually developed to ensure the future of the software.
Our product suite comprises of the following systems:
• Kypera Financials – Core back end financials product including Nominal ledger, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cash Book, Budgeting, Forecasting, Fixed Assets, CRM & Reporting
• Kypera Business – Web based order, expense and invoice management system. Customer specific authorisation paths allow online approval of both requisitions and invoices, in addition to electronic purchase orders and good receipting. The product also includes web based time recording and project costing.
• Kypera Housing – state-of-the-art housing management solution managing Rents, Repairs, Service Charges/Factoring, Waiting Lists, Appliance Management and Planned Maintenance.
• Kypera XLR – Excel based reporting tool drawing information from Kypera Financials, Kypera Business and Kypera Housing on a real-time basis to build powerful management reports with full drill down capabilities from within Excel.
All of the Kypera products use a state of the art reporting engine – Microsoft’s Active Reports. This gives end users the ability to design and amend any system report with out requiring any database knowledge. In addition, all Kypera products use SQL databases thus seamless interfacing with many 3rd party products.
Our products are used by a wide range of organisations, large and small, across many vertical markets within the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. A key aspect of Kypera’s approach is the ability to innovate by being able to react to market trends and demands.
Kypera Ltd operates a close working relationship with all their clients. Every client has a dedicated Business Manager who acts as the main point of contact should customers require any training, consultancy or wish to look at any additional products Kypera could offer. The company also hold regular development meetings with customers to discuss what Kypera have planned for future releases. All enhancements from customers are encouraged and after development meeting approx 98% of these are developed into the products.
As Kypera have several locations throughout the world, Kypera can offer a dedicated 24 hour support desk should your organisation require this. For example if you call our London support desk at 21:30 your call or email is directed through to our New Zealand office, where support staff will then investigate your issue until our UK support desk opens for operation.
