All Kypera solutions are compatible with the Microsoft Suite, and this familiar environment makes them easier to use and quicker to learn. The Microsoft-driven reporting tools provide powerful and versatile reporting options.
Using the latest technology ensures the greatest possible longevity for our systems. We continually develop and enhance them, working closely with our clients and hold regular development meetings to discuss plans for future releases. Each client has a dedicated Business Manager who is the first point of contact for any support, training or system-related enquiries.
Company history
The company began in 1981 when Kypera Chairman, Ian Thompson, originally founded Thompson Systems Limited, a reseller for SunSystems which successfully provided additional solutions and bespoke developments around the Sun package. In 2002 Thompson Systems merged with software authors ICE Solutions and Kypera was incorporated in 2004.
Kypera Financials, a ledger and accounting system was first supplied in 2002. Kypera XLR, a versatile reporting tool, was developed in 2003 and Kypera Business followed in 2004. Two years later a housing management system, Kypera Housing, was added, which is the first housing management system to use the latest Microsoft.NET technology throughout. Kypera Mobile is the latest addition to the product family, enabling access to Kypera systems via smart phone for more convenient updating of information. All Kypera products are truly integrated, removing the need to maintain cumbersome third-party interfaces.
Kypera continues to grow organically and through acquisition and has offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
